Hello, my name is Anna, and I’ve been playing the cello for 22 years. I have a masters degree both in performative arts and teaching cello from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. I have acquired a wide range of tools to inspire my pupils individually in their step-by-step development. I teach learners of all ages and levels, my students are 5-60 years old, from beginner to advanced. When I was 15, my cello teacher asked me to teach her younger pupils. I was enthusiastic of teaching, and I still have the same enthusiasm, but much more knowledge and experience. Playing the cello makes you beautiful both inside and outside! While playing the cello, I pay attention to the music, my technique, my body and my emotions. I focus on the same aspects while teaching, so we will improve your musical and technical abilities, as well as your awareness of your own body and emotions. I offer violin lessons at all levels. I teach in German, Polish and English. I have a higher musical education and am currently studying for my doctorate. I gained my chamber music and orchestral experience in the best German orchestras such as the Staatskapelle Berlin and the Bavarian Radio Orchestra Munich. My bachelor's degree at the Conservatory of Ghent (Belgium) taught me what music interpretation is. At the Peter Cornelis Conservatory I learned the important basics of cello and music teaching. In recent years I have gained a lot of experience teaching cello in individual and group lessons as well as in string class lessons. The way of teaching will suit the level of the student (for beginners I divide the lessons into two parts: half basic music theory and the other half cello), and I will always have my cello with me to illustrate.
