From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

This course is tailored for each student to teach the unique characteristics of jazz singing and how to apply these characteristics to create your own sound. You will learn jazz phrasing, how to integrate good technique into jazz song styles, and how to sing with a number of time feels and grooves. The course focuses on jazz vocal technique and delivery, including use of vocal inflections, dynamics, articulation, and interpretation, and how to improvise through rhythmic and melodic phrasing. The course then will go deeper into jazz improvisation expanding the musical vocabulary of scat studying syllabels, rhythm, and melodic ideas. In this course we will apply these concepts to jazz tunes in various tempos and grooves, including ballads, medium swing, fast swing, and bossa nova. You'll move on to learn important considerations for effective stage presence and use of the microphone, too.

I have a master's degree in both classical piano and composition. Currently active in the international professional field, I have collaborated with musicians across a wide range of styles and genres, including composing for the Flanders Symphony Orchestra, creating an interactive music theatre piece on vulnerability, and winning the 3rd prize at the Malmö Piano Competition. Additionally, I play synthesizer in a rock band, work with electronics on the computer and enjoy improvising in various musical styles. Piano and Singing class. I graduated at Prague Conservatory and traveled the world with my band on the cruise ship. I have tons of experience with teaching children and i am the happiest around them. We will go through the basics, music theory and all basics thing that are important for beeing able to play. At my singing class, there is also a little bit of piano involved. I will explain you the breathing, we will talk about your body importance and i explain the technique. In order to motivate my students, I always combinate important methodic things to play with their own favorite things to play. The same at my piano class. I speak fluent English, my German is not the best, but i am working on it. I have also students, who dont speak English and we always make it work, actually it is a lot of fun. Via webcam i only teach singing, not piano.
