I have been teaching classical and electric guitar for 20 years to students of all ages (from 6 -7) and levels of preparedness. My classes are not just about learning, but also about the joy of playing the guitar while making the learning easy, stress-free, and most of all - fun, so you or your kids would want to continue! The classes can go from the basics to learning the scales and chords, transcribing the licks of your favorite guitar players, improvising solos and playing your favorite songs and compositions. Aktuell spiele ich bei einer Vielzahl an Projekten mit diversen Musikstielen mit. Zu meinen Referenzen zählen unter anderem ein Auftritt im Niederländischen Fernsehsender L1mburg TV, sowie ein Konzert im öffentlich rechtlichen Hörfunkprogramm NPO Jazz der Niederlande, des weiteren Auftritte bei diversen Jazzfestivals, darunter North Sea Jazz Rotterdam, JazzOut Limburg und das Göttinger Jazzfestival. Bereits seit früher Kindheit begleitet mich Musik. Im Alter von fünf Jahren begann ich Flöte und mit neun Jahren Saxophon zu spielen. Nachdem ich zahlreiche Erfahrungen in Bigbands, Funk/Soulbands, Rockbands und anderen Projekten gesammelt hatte, mündeten meine Interessen in einem Jazz und Saxophon Studium am Konservatorium Maastricht, welches ich 2021 erfolgreich abschloß. Über den Unterricht: Es geht nicht nur um Jazz. Du bestimmst die Musikrichtung. Ob Pop, Funk oder Soul, ich bin offen für alles. Reflektieren ist das A und O. Ich bringe dir Musiktheorie und alles rund ums Sax bei. Das Feel und der Spaß am musizieren steht immer im Zentrum. Du entscheidest welche Richtung wir einschlagen. I am here for anybody wanting to learn or improve on the Saxophone or, but also offering introductory classes for beginners on the piano, flute or clarinet. In one-to-one lessons I would like to show students different doors in music to jazz and popular music and convey excitement and joy in this complex and magical science. My emphasis is on sound, phrasing, music theory, rhythm and ear training and improvisation. The lessons are atmospherically relaxed and should stimulate personal interest. Above all, it is very dependent on the student, as I try to adapt to you individually in this regard, because music is a very subjective thing. Beginners as well as advanced learners of all ages are welcome!
