As originally a self-taught guitarist, I spent thousands of hours developing my own systems of navigating the fretboard and playing chords. It wasn't until much later when I realized that these are very similar to the ideas that professional Nashville guitarists and some Berklee professors use themselves! For beginners: I can show you the building blocks of the guitar that will have you playing songs in no time. I will also teach you the most common chord progressions that will help you switch between chords without having to think. For those struggling with barre chords: I will show you how to simplify them and how to get your fingers in shape to eventually play the full chords. For intermediate guitarists: we will start moving up the guitar neck and playing chords in different keys and positions. With the CAGED system, you can play any open chord on any part of the guitar. As a teacher my goal is to bring out the best version of my students, using their individual strenghts, which are different for each of them. It's a pleasure for me to teach to anybody who wants even just to discover the art of playing the violin. As a pedagogue, after one month experience in a meditation retreat in Thailand, my approach involves not only focusing on the technical development of the instrument but also paying close attention to the physical and mental well-being of my students.
