je m'appelle Martin, je suis batteur diplômé de la emba ( école de musique de Buenos Aires ) et j'exerce la batterie depuis plus de 15 ans.
Je propose des cours de batterie pour les jeunes et les moins jeunes. Plan de travail adapté en fonction des styles, de l'objectif, du temps de libre (pour la pratique de l'instrument)

Au programme:

je peux donner des cours de batterie allant du débutant au musicien avancé, des rudiments aux techniques plus poussées, pour des styles allant du jazz au rock, en passant par le funk, la pop, la salsa. Je pratique personnellement tout ces styles de musique.
La lecture est très importante, mais savoir développer son oreille est primordial.
Je me concentre en priorité sur le développement du jeu de batterie, de l'indépendance des membres entre eux, et du son global de l'instrument.

Passionné de la batterie et de la percussion, je me suis formé dans une école de Musique à Buenos Aires et à Toulouse, j´ai continué a me perfectionner avec beaucoup des professeurs de batterie et percussion à Puerto Rico, Buenos Aires, France et Belgique.
Maintenant je fais parti du groupe de Percussion Sysmo à Bruxelles.

I've been playing drums for 15 years and been playing with some great jazz artists like Benny Golson, Billy Hart, Peter Bernstein, Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, Randy Brecker, Jim Rotondi. I can show you around and teach you the basics of drumming.

If you want to know not just about drum techniques and playing, but also about its history and musicianship, you'll definitely have a unique experience with my lessons.

I believe drumming is not just about playing and knowing your chops, but also about being able to listen to others in the band and make sure you "be" part of the music, without resorting to thrashing around and proving to others what kind of noise you can make. Hence the phrase "A band should be as good as its drummer". :)

Drumming is undoubtedly a way of building up your self-confidence, in order to establish your identity. The drums are a great use to channel your emotions, so long as you don't have to pull a Keith Moon. ;)

I can also add keyboards to the mix.... But why is it relevant for a drummer, you may ask? Well, although it may look the contrary from the outside, having an ear for other instruments and chords is absolutely essential, because both your drumming nd ability to improvise contributes to the atmosphere of each song.

I would love to see you in a band context. We could work together on your technique, tuning your instrument, right position on your drumset and all the music stuff from rock over latin to jazz. I have a lot of playalong tunes and If you want, we could do sheet music and sight reading as well. Maybe you prepare yourself for an audition ? We could do this together.

Ich begann 2017 mein Studium am Conservatorium Maastricht bei Arnoud Gerritse und Ron van Stratum und schloss dieses erfolgreich 2021 ab. Neben diversen Bandprojekten im Bereich des Rock, Jazz, HipHop und anderen verwandten Musikrichtungen, gebe ich seit etwa 5 Jahren auch Unterricht und da ich nun nach meinem Bachelor nach Köln gezogen bin, möchte ich diesen auch hier anbieten.
Der Unterricht richtet sich sowohl an Anfänger als auch an Fortgeschrittene und kann auch als Vorbereitung zur Aufnahmeprüfung genutzt werden.

You don't have to have previous experience in playing the drums. You can be an absolute beginner, intermediate, or more advanced student. I also teach all ages.

I started playing the drums at the age of 9, and after my first band experiences, I was recruited by various artists to play shows throughout Germany. I study drums at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute and work as a session drummer for touring and recording artists internationally.

I play drums in many different groups, bands, collectives, projects.
